I’m Sharon Feliciano, founder of ParentingGeekly. I live in Seattle, WA with my two kids (Nate, 2000 and Kitty, 2007), my tech guru husband Rick and our cat, Duncan.

I founded ParentingGeekly in 2010 to provide a place for geeky parents to find product reviews, technology and media guides, and advice, all with a nerdy twist.

Outside of ParentingGeekly, I am on the Board of Directors of GeekGirlCon, I chair the Fundraising Committee of our K-8 school’s PTO and I assist small and micro businesses and non-profits with their Social Media presence.

ParentingGeekly has worked with Disney, Mars Candy,  Dreamworks, T-Mobile and other brands. ParentingGeekly.com has been featured on the local NBC and Fox affiliates, on LAWeekly.com and Wired.com. I was also an invited guest to the STS-135 NASA Social Media Tweetup, acting as a “social media ambassador” for that mission.

Locally ParentingGeekly has worked with the Seattle International Film Festival, Seattle Art Museum, GeekGirlCon, the Bellevue Hyatt Regency, AT&T Seattle, John Howie Steak, and others.  I especially love to showcase geeky events and attractions (or the geeky aspects of “traditional” attractions) that surround us here in the PNW.

I believe we all have a little geek in us. The part of us that is excited to parent because it means we don’t have to give up playing with action figures, that your model-building habit will finally have an admirer and that you’ll one day have a built in buddy to play DnD with. So whether you geek out over video games, comic books, music, Lego, Star Wars or Fantasy Baseball, I welcome you!
If you are a brand representative and think we could be a good fit, please email sharon@parentinggeekly.com.
